Chariho United is a non-partisan community group formed to support inclusive, fully funded public schools in Charlestown, Richmond, and Hopkinton. We believe strong schools are the foundation of a strong community, and that every student deserves the resources, opportunities, and support they need to thrive.
About Chariho United
Public education in our community faces growing challenges. Outside groups with narrow agendas are working to undermine confidence in our schools and divide neighbors. Too often, these efforts put politics ahead of what really matters: our kids. Chariho United was created to bring people together — parents, teachers, neighbors, and local leaders — to stand up for all students and ensure our schools remain a place where every child belongs and succeeds.
WHAT WE DO
Share clear, factual information about school committee actions, budgets, and policies so the community stays informed.
Encourage civic participation by empowering residents to speak up at meetings, serve on committees, and vote with confidence.
Support candidates for school committee who are committed to transparency, accountability, and a strong public school system.
Build community through newsletters, forums, and events that bring neighbors together around a shared belief in education.
